The journal “Temas de Ciencia y Tecnología” of the Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca is a scientific, technological, and humanistic outreach publication that provides a space for researchers and academics to publish essays, notes, and reviews in an accessible way for the general public.

To serve as a written outreach medium that helps strengthen and promote scientific culture, combat misinformation, and encourage critical thinking among non-specialized audiences.

Objective

To communicate to non-specialized readers, using accessible language, essays, notes on outstanding findings, book reviews, and academic life in educational institutions, through a four-monthly publication that shows their impact on society.

Original outreach works in the areas of Physical-Mathematical Sciences and Earth Sciences; Biology and Chemistry; Medicine and Health Sciences; Education Sciences; Humanities; Social Sciences; Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences, Forestry and Ecosystems; Engineering and Technological Development; as well as Interdisciplinary fields.
