EDITORIAL PROCESS & PEER REVIEW
The journal’s editorial process includes an internal double-blind review and follows a defined publication schedule. It includes deadlines for reviews, final article selection, copyediting, design, and layout, through to final publication.
- Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be unpublished, and authors agree not to submit them simultaneously to other publications.
- The journal “TEMAS de Ciencia y Tecnología” will acknowledge receipt of all manuscripts it receives.
- The manuscript will be reviewed by the Editorial Board before proceeding to external review.
- Once approved by the Editorial Board, the essay or note will be sent for (double-blind) peer review by at least two experts in the relevant discipline.
- The article will be accepted as is, with minor revisions, with major revisions, or rejected, based on the external peer review reports.
- The results of the evaluation will be communicated to the corresponding author. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
- Accepted articles will receive galley proofs for correction, and authors must sign the rights assignment letter.
- Accepted articles will be published on the website of the Technological University of the Mixteca.
