EDITORIAL PROCESS & PEER REVIEW

The journal’s editorial process includes an internal double-blind review and follows a defined publication schedule. It includes deadlines for reviews, final article selection, copyediting, design, and layout, through to final publication.

  1. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be unpublished, and authors agree not to submit them simultaneously to other publications.
  2. The journal “TEMAS de Ciencia y Tecnología” will acknowledge receipt of all manuscripts it receives.
  3. The manuscript will be reviewed by the Editorial Board before proceeding to external review.
  4. Once approved by the Editorial Board, the essay or note will be sent for (double-blind) peer review by at least two experts in the relevant discipline.
  5. The article will be accepted as is, with minor revisions, with major revisions, or rejected, based on the external peer review reports.
  6. The results of the evaluation will be communicated to the corresponding author. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
  7. Accepted articles will receive galley proofs for correction, and authors must sign the rights assignment letter.
  8. Accepted articles will be published on the website of the Technological University of the Mixteca.
