Abstract

Currently, there is a significant increase in platforms that provide Industry 4.0 functions, as a result of digitalization, connectivity, advanced automation, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, industrial cybersecurity and the pursuit of sustainability, driving a comprehensive transformation in manufacturing and the supply chain. One of the major challenges arises during the design and integration of these functions, especially when incorporating operations from machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models. This paper presents an Industry 4.0 platform using a web application and ML/DL models for the evaluation and classification of candy quality, based on feature vector analysis. This platform has knowledge of candy recipes through modeling, which allows it to predict/classify the quality of these by inputting the current variables of the production process.
